👉 Make your search results more precise with the explicit operators AND, OR, NOT!

  • All words that must be present are separated by an AND.
Ex.: to identify all documents that contain both "environment" and "UK":

  • If at least one word from a given list must be present, separate the words in that list with an OR.
    Ex.: France OR UK.

  • If a word should not be present in the search results, precede it with NOT.
    Ex.: environment NOT COP.

⚠ AND, OR, NOT must be written in upper case.

Also to be noted:

  • Writing a group of words in quotation marks " will search this exact phrase.

  • Adding parentheses allows you to group words to indicate in which order to execute operations.
    Ex.:

  • By default, the search is conducted in every field of a document. You can restrict the search to one or several fields, such as the title.
Ex.: title="COP 27". 🔗 Find the list of search operators here.

You can also use the assisted search to conduct an advanced search without having to write the operators. 🔗Assisted search
