1. Types and Costs of an Article:

Alerts and Advisories (flash, alert, urgent, advisory)

News Article (simple text story)
1 credit
Value-Added News Article – (Indepth, analysis, advancer, etc)
2 credits

2. Viewing and downloading an article

👀NOTE : When a team member unlocks a document submitted for credits, it is freely accessible to the entire team for 24 hours, from the date of purchase, including updated version (labeled in red at the beginning of the text).

An article purchased with credits remains freely accessible for 24 hours from the date of purchase, including those updated throughout the day (label in red at the beginning of the text).

3. Filter the articles

Three filters allow you to refine your view based on the source, category, or article word count.

A. "Categories" Filter

You can refine your results based on the categories that interests you. There are 5 categories:

Agenda: Advisory - free - and Agenda -1 credit
Top News: Flash, urgent, alerts - free -, lead, 2nd lead, 3rd lead, wrap - 1 credit
Explainers: Side bar, Q&A, chronology, analysis - 2 credits
On the ground: Feature, photo essay, video essay - 2 credits
Inspiring: Hopeful and inspirational articles selected every Thursday by the AFP editorial team - 2 credits

B. "Sources" Filter

Allows you to filter in or out AFP content and other production (I.e., press releases).

C. [NEW FILTER ✨] My subcription only fILTER

In the news tab, use the "My subscription only" filter to filter your search results according to your subscription.

This allows you to filter the news items in your subscription feed. For example, if you are subscribed to the Eco Feed, you will only see the news items that are part of that feed, thus excluding all news items subject to credits.

👍 Tip: By selecting this facet, you can receive email notifications composed only of the news items that are part of your subscription feed.
